Mr. Frills B&B is a modern, stylish Bed & Breakfast Rome run by friendly young brothers Giampiero and Enrico. The Bed & Breakfast is located in Rome’s elegant Piazza Vittorio, part of an area called Esquilino in the centre of Rome. It is a bustling, multi-ethnic neighbourhood just a quick 5-minute walk to Termini railway station (principal Rome Station) or a 15-minute walk to the Colosseum. There is a metro station (Piazza Vittorio metro Station) just 100 metres away and the area is well serviced by busses and trams to all areas of Rome.

The Bed & Breakfast, completely renovated and opened in 2007, is on the “piano nobile” ( nobles floor ) of one of Piazza Vittorio’s beautiful 19th century blocks. This was the floor of the “nobles” who owned the house- and therefore has balconies and high ceilings. Two of the four rooms face on to a quiet courtyard.

The rooms, as well as the common room, were all designed to have a simple, contemporary feel, with tiled floors, comfortable leather chairs, and sleek in-built bathrooms.

All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, and internet connections (Wi-Fi and cable ) for guests who wish to bring their laptops.
A light breakfast is served each morning in the common room, where there is also the owner’s computer with high-speed internet which they will let guests use.

Smoking is only allowed on the balconies of these two rooms but not inside the Bed & Breakfast.
Both Giampiero and Enrico between them speak Italian, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese!

The rooms are really spacious and bright. The ceiling are 5 meters high.
All of them are provided with ensuite bathroom, clima, satellite Tv, and internet broadband conection, hairdryer, towels, shampoo and shower cream.
Linen and towels will be changed every 3 days.

The Esquilino district (Piazza Vittorio)
Mr. Frills Bed & Breakfast enjoys a central location in Rome, in the vibrant “Esquilino” district a few minutes by foot from Roma Termini train station and bus terminal.
In the immediate proximity of the B&B, you will find many of Rome’s important sights, such as the magnificent Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, the Roman archaeological site of Terme di Diocleziano, the Roman National Museum, and Rome’s cathedral San Giovanni Laterano. The Colosseum, Roman Forum and Circus Maximus are only 15 minutes away by foot.

For those looking to eat some fine Italian cuisine, there are good options in the vicinity- with plenty of traditional Italian trattorias and restaurants serving classic Roman and Italian meals at honest prices.
There are also excellent coffee shops and ice cream parlours nearby.

Thanks to the unique atmosphere of the area, a lot of artists moved to Piazza Vittorio. This gave birth to a big orchestra made up of artists coming from all over the world, called ça va sans dire, or, The Piazza Vittorio Orchestra, who are well worth seeing.

In addition, there are also two important theatres nearby: the “Brancaccio” on Via Merulana and the “Ambra Jovinelli“- one of the most active contemporary and experimental theatres in Rome.
If you would like to explore a little further, the vibrant district of S. Lorenzo- a young and noisy place full of bars, clubs, and restaurants for every taste- is only a few minutes walk away.
